If you are planning to remove the "L", that's held by adhesives only. The "Lexus" and "ISx50" has holes behind it.

you can try to spray some wd-40 on it to dissolve the adhesive.

Actually, the circle-L emblem also has holes behind it, too:



There are a total of 6 holes on the trunk lid: 2 on the "Lexus" wordpiece, 2 on the Circle-L logo, and one each on the "S" and "0" in "IS 350". Below is a picture of the back side of the my stock emblems.

Wait what about the AWD symbol, that doesn't have holes right. Cause I think all the 08's have the AWD symbol on the back and that's def one of the first things I will do.
