Your car ash tray

Hopefully when my tein cs coils come in I'll put my edfc in there. Someone in this forum did that and I thought it was an awsome idea so I'll steal his/her idea and do the same.

I was thinking of doign that but it's too noisy in there with the coincs jumping/moving around when i'm driving. I am looking for one of those velvet like paper with a sticky on one side that I could cut to specification and put in there as a lining so that the coins won't make much noise.

The idea of it being a coin holder is not bad, but I have a 2008 model, so I won't be doing that. But I did notice my iPhone fits in there well when the tray is taken out.
Iron, can you post up another shot of the mount.

The reason why the JDM IS inpanel box is expensive is the entire ashtray assembly is replaced. The retracting door is part of it so there is a different one for the bird's eye maple vehicles and is much more expensive. I'm sure if you get creative with it you could remove the assembly and fab whatever you want in place of it. I'm planning on making taking mine out and making it a multi funtional control to have the VSS signal bypass, parking brake bypass, backup camera bypass and a/v signal input along with a dock for the iPod touch once Vaistech makes it compatible with the ML/Navi system.
