I dont know if it is just me, but i cannot stand the chrome trim around the windows on the 2IS. I was wondering if there was someone who has replaced the chrome and how much it cost...or if there even was such thing as taking it off...

im in the same boat.. never been a fan of chrome.. im in cali so everybody and there moms have chrome... i dont think they come out... i think im gonna paint it...

you could use molding blackout tape. Buy it at an autoparts store.....

I believe the Glacier Frost Mica gets black window moldings. You could purchase new ones instead.

I painted mine, the top part is riveted to but the bottom piece is removable. Painting the trim would be very hard to do and most body shops are not willing to do it.

Any chance Aerotect or any other vinyl shop could make a black nuvyl cut-out for the chrome trim? It might be a good idea. I've been wanting to paint mine too but it seems like such a hassle.
