Default Dealer says G-Spider alloy wheels don't fit on IS 250 AWD

I just got back from my local Lexus dealership. I am looking to get a 2008 IS 250 AWD with the 18" G-Spider Alloy wheels, but the dealer is telling me that those wheels are only for the IS 250 RWD and IS 350. I looked in the brochure and could not find any fine print that indicated a restriction on these wheels for the IS 250 AWD.

Does anyone here have an IS 250 AWD with 18" G-Spider Alloy wheels?

Thanks
SAF

Yup, you need the GS set for the AWD IS.

They make 2 different G-spiders. An 18 X 8 -45 and an 18 X 8.5 -50. The GS uses the 18 X 8 -45 on all four. The IS uses the 18 X 8 -45 on the front and 18 X 8.5 -50 on the rears. The SC430 uses the 18 X 8.5 -50 on all four.

The link you sent shows two wheels, 18 x 8.0 and 18 x 8.5. I need a pair of each, right?

Thanks

For the AWD, you would want four of the 18 x 8.0.

you need four of the same wheels in order for the dealer to say it will "fit".... and of course the dealer is not going to buy half of two sets of wheels so if u want them u can buy them urself

Wait a sec. One guy says I need 18x8.0 in the front and 18x8.5 in the back, and now you're saying I need 18x8.0 all around. What do I need for the IS AWD?

Thanks
