DIY Request - Side Mirrors
I just got new bulbs for my courtesy lights... and before i break the mirror i would like to see a DIY. I have seen a few but one had a screw, which my mirror doesnt. If there isnt a good DIY, can anyone list any tips...

its held in by 2 clips on the bottom and 2 hooks on top. it might feel like its not gonna come off but it will. just be careful when you do pull. i did my first mirror carefully and it came off fine.. got careless and yanked the 2nd mirror really hard and ended up breaking one of the clips... but when i put it back it still seemed sturdy. i think theres some sort of adhesive pad in the middle.
when you put it back... hook the top first and push down hard on the bottom left and right side of the mirror until you hear a click on both sides. then wipe off all your dirty fingerprints.
*edit*
after you take off the mirror there are 3 screws that hold the back of the housing on. unscrew the inside top one and the 2 that are farthest away from the car. stick your fingernail on the outer edge of the housing and pop the back housing off.

Lexus Fanatic
Yea thing is its in the 'lighting mods' thread, BUT while going thru the DIY i still wasnt sure, so one day i was going past lexus and i pulled in and talked to a tech. Thats what he told me to do and presto, easy. Just dont go too easy, you have to 'pop it' *course dont go too hard either * Forceful yet restrained if that makes sense
