Coolant/Anti-Freeze type Used
Ok, I searched for type of Coolant used in the IS350's. I know its pink in color and they call it SLLC (Super Long Life Coolant) or something like that. I read in the manual that the coolant in our 06 models is H.O.A.T compatible, which is good. That leads me to believe its not 'Dexcool' type coolant, which is O.A.T.
I think we can use, maybe Lobuxracer can chime in here, Zerex GO-5 HOAT coolant. which should be compatible.

I usually try to carry some in the trunk in case something happens to the cooling system. Now that every manufacturer has their specific type coolant. There was a time when 'green' could be put in everything. You have to be careful, cause if you mix the wrong coolant, you can end up with a 'cheese' like substance in your radiator.(non-editable)
The Zerex GO-5 is good for 150k miles so the life is compatible as well. Its clear in the bottle, and changes color to match what you already have in the system. I use it in my 05 Dodge CTD.
we have to be accurate here. Cause if you find yourself in small town america with a split radiator hose or something, and the only 'go-mart' in town just has 'Green' stuff, you'll need that gallon in your trunk to get you home. Besides it good to know what goes in your car. Let me know what ya'll use.
