[QUOTE=Acevision;7077882]Some pics that i took today ijdmtoy xenon kit
Looking good, I just installed my 3000k fogs today. The hardest thing about the install was putting the bumper back on. Everything else was cake, thanks to this write up. Was it hard to pop off the lense of your fogs and take of the reflector that covers the HID bulb and isn't it too bright?

Just an FYI..
When installing my XD kit on my 2008 IS350, I had to pull the pins out from the included extra black and white wire harnesses and switch them in the plug for the bulbs to work. Somehow, my vehicle was a reverse polarity type vehicle.. even though the + and - matched up from OEM plug to XD plug.

Greetings from Australia!
For anyone who's interested, I just installed HIDs into my fog light housing, replacing a aftermarket pair of LEDs. Below is photo showing the light illumination comparison - 35W 6000K HID (left) vs. LED (right) for the fog lights
Low beams are also 6000K 35W HIDS

it's the same process. I have an 08 IS and I changed my brother's 13 IS easily.
1: jack up car
2: up jack stands
3: remove front wheels
4: remove plastic screws that hold the liner to fnder
5: remove metal screw at bottom holding the front lip to bumper
6: pop out the liner from the clips to get access to the fogs
7: replace bulbs
8: place everything back together

I did my 535i fogs that way, but there were no "clips" involved.

There are clips that hold the liner to the bumper. Just tug the liner away and they clips should stay stuck to the bumper. Yes, you can do it without removing the wheels; however, it is a PIA due to the limited space. I've done it before but if you want to save yourself the frustration, just remove the wheels. Also, you will have to unscrew some screws that hold the liner in the wheel well to pull the liner back. Make sure you do not touch the glass of the bulbs with your bare hands, doing so will shorten the life of the bulbs. I always wear rubber gloves just to keep my hands clean.
