With the connectors, those are pin, but what if the kit comes with housing connectors, does + still goes with - ?
Red = positive
Black = negative
What happen if you get it wrong, does it blow up?

I did a little peeping around with the well and very little room however doable. One thing is the ballast, doi just still it in there somewhere (it's a slim type). Btw, the little grommit that comes with the kit is not used for foglight right?
ps: thanks SB for the reply.

Removing the bumper makes the ballast install much easier. It's really simple to take off and put back on. You have to unattach the bumper from the fender liner regardless of how you install, which is the hardest part. Putting the ballast behind the bumper support as shown in this thread is the best location.

I just did it via the well. I just need to come back in next week to properly secure the ballasts. Got another 5hours till dark...can't wait to try it out.
Reason i havent tried the bumper method is cos on of the bolt to remove the bumebr is superglued on lol....can't get it off for the love of my lights !!!

1) reverse the polarity of the plug on the HID harness like this (you'll need to tape or somehow ziptie the wires so they don't come apart):
2) Or take the plug (on the HID kit side) and shave off the little notch with a knife or dremel and plug it in backwards into the OEM plug. This method worked on my NSX because the plug was tight enough that it didn't come out.

The rubber grommet is to seal any holes you would have drilled. For a fog light install, it's not needed.

Bah, removing the bumper just seems like way too much unneeded work. I turned my wheel and pulled back my liner on each side and installed them in under 20 minutes for both sides. This was over a year ago and I've had NO problems.
