Default Dome light... illuminated scuff plates

Are the dome lights connected to the illuminated scuff plates?

If so, and I think they are) how do we disable the domes but keep the scuff plates illumintaed when opening the doors.

Thanks.

i think you could disable the scuff plates while still having the dome lights come on but i don't think you could do it the other way around

What happens when you just press the "Door" button? Does it disable both the dome lights and the scuff plates?

How about leaving the dome light switch on and remove the bulb? I don't think the wiring is in series. Give it a try and pls let us know.

Either that or you could wire the scuffs to the footwell. Like 06 non sport ISs.

^^ The re-wiring sounds like an option..

I don't think you want to remove the 3 dome light bulbs... Its going to be dark at night with out them...
