Default 'After the beep, please say a command'

I tried a search but couldn't find anything here or in the manual.

Is there a way to bypass the verbal prompt and just get the beep instead?

Go to Menu and choose Options.

Scroll down and press Off beside the Voice Guidance Prompt option.

That was one of the first things I did when I got the car. I have to say, so far the voice recognition is pretty good. Granted I haven't done much driving, but I try to test it out at least once when I'm in the car.

I know right, that's stuff you're not looking for in the manual. People get pissed off like "READ THE MANUAL!" lol I appreciate people who just tell you what you need to know which is mostly everyone here. Gotta love clublexus

Here's the real question, can you turn the voice prompt off with a voice command?

That would really be great!

Cheers,

I believe it is also on the CD tutorial that comes with the car (or at least used to come with the car?)
