lambo doors?
hey guys i was thinking of getting lambo doors for my 350. has anyone seen how they look and can u guys tell me the advantages/disadvantages for putting it on. also.. does anyone know how much it would be to get them put on?
im getting my brother to buy them for me for my 20th bday.. lol..

The kits for Lambo Door conversion has gotten cheaper from around 5 years ago. I think it will cost you bewteen $1k-$2k installed for a pretty good system.
It's all personal taste but 4 doors doesn't look right with lambo doors though. If you're going to do it though, how about you make the rear doors open suicide style as well. I think that might look pretty good. Just am idea.

since rfx45 has just about answered the question, i'd like to tell you the pro's n cons
advantage of lambo doors = your doors open like Lamborghini's *HECK YES!*
disadvantage of lambo doors= your car still wont be a lamborghini! *WOMP WOMP*
since now that you'll have the doors. the next step is to find a lamborghini with no doors... that u can attatch yours to!

There is a kit that will enable u to open ur door normally or upwards. Just in case u get bored w it opening upwards u still can open it normally.
BTW i do not know where that kit is sold but i saw it in an article in S'pore a year ago.

I think the Lambo doors look good.....ON A LAMBO!!!
On a serious note, if that's what floats your boat, then by all means, go for it. I don't think it would look good on a 4 door car though, not that it hasn't been done before.

I'm a HUGE fan of the suicide door look! That would be sick!
I think you would get really sick of a gull wing door, and all four might look a little tacky... just my opinion, or else like jurutera said get a kit that allows you to do both.

do it man, it's your money and if it please you then by all means do it.
I would never put lambo doors on my IS though, that would look plain stupid, but that is just my opinions.
