Of course everyone had to conform to the new SAE HP standard of measurement. Not just Honda/Acura. Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti and all the rest. Most of all the Japanese had to adjust their HP ratings on paper after they used the mandated SAE measurement. HP and Torque is HP and Torque. It may be true that different manufactures tune their power band differently, or some may even slightly under rate their figures, but a German HP is the same as a Japanese HP. It is just a unit of measurement.

I would do it if I had the chance....My brother is getting a C300 Sport in January. We test drove it a few weeks ago and I was impressed with the ride, interior fit, power (228hp) and standard features. In Mercedes its called Command which is similar to the Idrive that BMW offers and IMO the Command is alot more user friendly.

I personally don't see the logic in going from an IS350 to a C350. Thats just me though. Now if it was going from an IS250 to a C350 that would be a different story. Never was a big fan of Benz.

I have a 2005 MB CLK 320 and IS 350. The IS is faster. The MB (my opinion now) drives much nicer. You can "feel" the road. If I had to keep only one car it would be the MB CLK. Sorry guys.

i like the benz and want to drive it, we are considering it for my wife. i think it looks good and i also lease my cars and could care less about how the car holds up down the road
i like the feel of a German car also. it doesnt compare to our car, Lexus is a quality car hands down and the interior is ahead of most German manufactures. how many of you actually use all these nice features in your car. i like to drive my car and miss that feeling....i have thought about lowering the car but its leased and i hate to do more then rims on a leased car that is usually out of my hands in 1.5 to 2 yrs with the amt of miles i put on them.....
i say go for it if it makes sense and makes you happy!!!!
