I wanted silver but they didnt offer it in star fire pearl. So it was cashmere or black. So I choose black. I actually like it now. It does get dusty quick tho.

I'd get the grey only if you park your car in the sun everyday or a lot at work....if not, just get the black - it looks sportier (the grey is a classier look for the ES/GS/LS).
black is pretty much bullet-proof as far as getting dirty.

I had black - now I've got grey. Both are nice but grey doesn't show the dust as bad and does feel a bit more upmarket - they two tone effect really gives the cabin a lift.

Thanks All for your thoughts. I like the black and the gray. I think I'm leaning towards the gray, simply because I do go down to Palm Springs and I've had black interiors before....which are not comfy when it's 110!
But also, the first dealer (with the black interior) all of the sudden has flaked out. Don't get calls back, etc. I figure it's a sign...

I have both black (RX) and grey (IS) leather interiors and I can say that the grey just makes the interior look bigger and roomier. For the black interior, you just have to maintain it by dusting it more often. You can't go wrong with either. As long as it's not "cashmere" or that nasty brown colored interior. LOL, just my 2 cents.

didnt think id like the sterling interior but really liked it once my car showed up. they ordered the wrong color (should have received black) and glad it came sterling instead.

A dealer has quoted a very good deal for Smoky Granite with Black Interior. I liked the combination.
But I saw another Smokey Granite with Gray Interior at a different dealer. And it looked nice in a different way. I liked it, but I couldn't help think it looked a little less together. But since the two cars wern't side-by-side....I'm now confused.
The gray seems lighter/cooler. The black, more intimate.
I appreciate that most of you have seen both combinations a lot. I'd appreciate any opinions which way to go.
I know, I know, it's a personal opinion and I should choose what I like.
I guess I just want to hear how some of you would choose and why.
Thank you.

* Beautiful contrast
* Cooler
* Shows less dirt/dust
* less swirl marks
* Better resale value - people particularly don't like to buy black
interiors in hot regions.
* Chicks dig it!!
