Default battle of the whites - Starfire Pearl versus Crystal White...how much different?
I'm curious how much different these colors are - I think someone said SFP had more metallic in it -- but has anyone seen them side by side????? is it hard to tell any difference???

Please don't turn this into a "Crystal White looks much better......" "Starfire Pearl looks waaaaaaaaay better" thread

I might be wrong but I think Lexus changed the name Crystal White into Star Fire Pearl from 07 on. The different is only the name I think.

All paints are different. They do not just change the name. There is a very subtle difference.

Starfire pearl has more metallic flake than crystal white.

Well, at least it looks that way for me...

Lots of Crystal White owners will say that there is barely a difference. I think Crystal White is the same White on the Scion TC.

I have Starfire Pearl and I love it. I think there is a big difference btw the two colors. It has more Pearl and is more "Lexus Like".

I've parked next to a white a few times and you can see a definite difference. And yes, Starfire Pearl IS way mo' better.

GFM seemed like a girlish color to me. But than again people can say that for whtie as well.

I think Starfire white is like, a lot more white. Crystal White is more yellower.

That's why I chose Starfire Pearl. Don't get me wrong, GFM is nice...but most of the time, it looks too blue for me. I like mine golden pearlish

If im not mistaken, the biggest difference is Starfire Pearl is a tri-stage paint whereas crystal white is only a 2 stage. I will confirm this tomorrow at work on the paint mixing computer. Starfire Pearl is the same color that Toyota has used on Solara's, Camry's, and Avalons for the past couple years.

Who cares, they are both very beautiful colors. Does it really matter? IMO to the naked eye you wont even know the difference unless youre a color freak.
