Default is250 premium package?

What exactly does the premium package include? I see people saying they got the premium package with navigation. So would that include heated/ventilated seats, wood trim, mark levinson, nav?

^^^ Also add 18" wheels with summer tires and HID/AFS headlight. It might also depend on your location.

Default Lexus.com has all the options listed...

Premium Package: $1,290
--Auburn bird's-eye maple interior trim
--Perforated leather-trimmed interior
--Heated and ventilated front seats

Wood trim would be included with the Luxury Package.

Mark Levinson is a stand-alone option (or paired with the Nav system).

When people say they got the "Premium Package with Nav," they got two option packages (Premium being one, Nav being another option) in the car...

^^^ That's what i thought too but on the Lexus website, they include the 18" wheel w/ summer tires and HID/AFS headlight. I also haven't seen any dealership that has the premium package without the 18" wheel w/ summer tires and HID/AFS headlight, then again it might just be my location.

Premium Pkg is different than Luxury Package. Also, I belive for RWD, there is the Lux Pkg AND the Lux Pkg w/18" wheels. Additionally, for AWD, there is no Premium Pkg, and the Lux Pkg doesn't include heated/vented/perferated seats, because they are std. with AWD, and doesn't inclued Wood Trim, which is extra (but good luck finding an AWD + Lux Pkg without also having wood).

250 RWD:
Premium Package $1,290
Auburn bird's-eye maple interior trim
Perforated leather-trimmed interior
Heated and ventilated front seats

Luxury Package $3,495
Auburn bird's-eye maple interior trim
Perforated leather-trimmed interior
Power tilt-and-telescopic steering column
Lexus Memory System to control power driver's and front passenger's seats (except lumbar), outside mirrors and steering wheel
Heated and ventilated front seats
Illuminated doorsill scuff plates
Power rear-window sunshade
Rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers with mist cycle
Electrochromic (auto-dimming) outside mirrors with auto tilt-down in reverse
Bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)

Luxury Package w/18-in wheels $4,215
Auburn bird's-eye maple interior trim
Perforated leather-trimmed interior
Power tilt-and-telescopic steering column
Lexus Memory System to control power driver's and front passenger's seats (except lumbar), outside mirrors and steering wheel
Heated and ventilated front seats
Illuminated doorsill scuff plates
Power rear-window sunshade
Rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers with mist cycle
Electrochromic (auto-dimming) outside mirrors with auto tilt-down in reverse
Bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)
18 x 8.0-in alloy wheels with 225/40YR18 tires front, 18 x 8.5-in alloy wheels with 255/40YR18 tires rear

250 AWD:

^^^ After playing around on the Lexus website, i noticed that when I try to Build an IS250 RWD in my area, CA, that the Premium Package includes HID and 18" wheels. Prmium package without those is not possible. But if you just look at their "pricing & options", Prem. Pack. doesn't include HID and 18" wheels.

It's not "included"--they are "additional options", meaning, in your region, they just assume anyone getting the premium package will also want 18" wheels--that's how the factory produces them. You can special order just the premium package, without the "additional options", if you want. The Build Your IS page is misleading; it makes it look like it's all one package, but they are really 2, 3, 4+ option packages combined.

For example, in the NE, I wanted AWD and the Luxury Pkg. But, you can't get those options without also getting wood trim and headlight washers, which cost extra.

When you "build your IS" with a specific zip code, it gives you the handful of configurations that are being purchased in dealer allocations for your geographic area -- in other words -- the configurations you'll actually find on dealer lots. To get a car with other combinations of options from the "pricing and options" page, you would need to special order a car, a process that takes around four months.

That's why I stated earlier that it depends on the location as well. Even though it's "additional options", it's still considered part of the Prem. Pack. where I'm located at.
