Default How much dust/debris is acceptable in a tint job?

Hey all,

I recently got my windows tinted and I see lint debris here and there... and I was wondering what's an acceptable amount of lint to be trapped in the tint?

I'm a perfectionist at times and I understand that no matter how clean an install place can be, you can't avoid it.

There shouldn't be any dust or debris in your tint. If it is done correctly. I would return and ask them to do again. OR go somewhere else.

A good tint place should clean your windows removing all dust and debris.

if that annoys you that much, you should have them re-do your windows...

I know exactly what happend, after they cut the tint they started to peal the back layer, this is done by one person holding the tint and another pealing and spraying with soapy water. As they pealed and sprayed the monkey holding the tint DROPPED IT. Instead of cutting a new piece they just used the one they dropped. Yep yep thats what happend.

It looks like this on the back window. Sorry the lighting's not so good and most of that is just dust on the outside, but I just wanted to point out the huge lint on the back

Definitely take it back to them to redo it. Was it done inside or outside? I'm sure they saw it too and didn't say a thing about it.
