Default HELP!! removing carbon overlay kit

Hi, i've been in CL for a long time but this is my first post.
I have the carbon overlay kit for my IS but didint look to flush when i installed it. i want to remove it and reinstall it again. Any suggestions how to remove these overlays? because these overlays uses 3M double tape to attach to the dash and they look hard and to remove and my main concern is the double tape will be hard to remove.

Thanks

This stuff is amazing and safe to use anywhere. Better then any other type of adhesive remover! You can get it at Wal-Mart in the household cleaner section. You can use this stuff for many other uses.

I'd go with hairdryer and if still having issues use floss to help.

Wow, that might be a tedious task you have ahead of you. Just out of curiosity what are you going to do differently when you reinstall it to make it more flush?

Having installed this kit myself I can attest there is very little room for error. It's a precision fit, and if it isn't aligned just right before the adhesive sticks there is no chance for adjustment other than to remove it and start over. Be careful.
