I cannot figure this out. When I got my new rims and tires my car started to pull to the right. I thought this was weird because I had just got my alignment checked about a month back and really don't drive my IS that much. So I went back to the tire place and had them swap my front 2 tires around (btw, i am running 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear). I figured if i had a bad tire it would then start to pull the other way and bingo problem solved. Cept that didn't happen. It still tramles to the right.
Could a bad rear tire cause this?
I guess my next 2 steps are to get the rears swapped around. If it still pulls to the right get the alignment check.
I have read some older threads about the stock dunlops causing some serious tramlining. I was just wondering if this is a tread pattern thing or what?
Please let me know if you guys with proxes pull to the right.

I have not had a tramlining issue with my T1R's so far... They
have about 1200 miles and no systematic pull to the right that you
are describing (the setup I have is not staggered).

Check your PSI in the tires, I once had the same problem, didn't swap the tires around, but pulled to the right but alignment was fine. Turned out the right tire had about 7-10psi less than the front left, which caused the pull.

MoLexus what was your problem then? I just had it aligned about 2mo. ago at the dealership. What did the dealership say was the issue. Because I know right away they are going to blame my new tires and rims. So, I have to get all the other stuff done first so they can't say "well it's this , well it's that". Also, it didn't pull with the stock tires.
Rickster31 - psi is perfect, but yeah I have had cars pull because of that in the past. Thanks.
mwaull - are you going with a staggered setup?

I used to have T1Rs and I don't recall having tramlining issues. Like Ricky mentioned, check your tire pressure. Or it could very well be your alignment again. Hope you find what's causing the issue.

Wow I can't believe someone brought this up. I'm running 20s staggered with Proxes T1Rs and my car pulls to the right after I got them installed. I just read up on it and now I think I know why my car pulls to the right. I've been back 'n forth with a local tire shop thinking it's alignment and PSI. What can we do about this?
