It all depends on what look you are going for. I have CF interior, license plate frames and pillars, on a Tungsten Pearl IS. What I don't think looks good with carbon fiber is any extra chrome, like wheels. CF is a techy looking material and chrome is a showy material. One or the other, but not both. But it is all personal opinion.
Distant pic, the CF pillars are hardly noticeable:
Closer look, both b and small window pillar covered:

Respectively disagree. The stock pillars are a shiny black which is the maximum color contrast with a lighter colored car. Black CF has a silvery gray appearance due to the woven fibers which softens up the look compared to black. To me it actually goes well with silver and lighter colored cars, as well as the darker colors. And I think you need a good 35% or less tint to make it all flow. But in any event it is really a pretty subtle look, it is not something that jumps out at you.

Huh? If you mean the pillars aren't solid carbon fiber you are correct. They would be horrendously expensive and would serve no purpose. This is not an F1 car where weight and strength are paramount. These are CF overlays. They are made from true 3D carbon fiber twill, covered with a UV urethane covering. They have good depth. You can find them on the 'Bay. Search for 'Lexus Carbon Fiber' .... you'll find them. <$100 delivered.

I had these made over a year ago. A lot of people didn't like them and called them ricey.....
I tried to get them massed produced, but no one was interested. Too bad because I chucked the templates.
