Default Lexus 470 Power window problem

Hi there,

I replaced my 2003 GX 470's battery. All my power windows except the driver-side window now will not work at all after replacing the battery. I cannot move them from the driver side or when directly using the switch at the window.

We checked the fuses and they are fine. Why did my windows stop working completely after the batter change and how do I fix it? The instructions will not help me since my windows do not move and are not blinking.

Mahalo for any help!

Sean

I have a 2007 IS350. OEM battery lasted 7 years! Just changed it and found power window reset on Page 46 of the manual. In the Index, look for Power Windows - then it says to roll each window down half way, using the switch for that window. Then roll it up and hold it up for 1 second after the window is all the way up. The LED on the switch will change from blinking to constant-on after the successful reset. I did mine with the engine running and it worked on the first try.

Worked like a charm. The passenger side window took a few tries but got it.

Default The back windows has no switch in is250 C convertible

How do I reset the small back windows? They don’t have designated controls. I only control them from the drivers side power switches. I was able to reset the front windows but the back.

This is the drivers side

This is the back window with no switches

At the moment the rear windows roll up, and down with the driver master switch?

Do the rear windows on the convertible even have auto-up and auto-down function? The labeling on the window switches that you posted show that only the front ones do.
