Good point. If you want you can do half of it where from a distance the white wouldn't be that obvious.

So in a perfect world all red is best look?
White is practical. That is a great point.

Also, isn't the white supposed to warn people that you're backing up? This defeats that purpose.

On a red car, it looks very clean. I know people behind can't see the clear backups when you reverse.....but how many times will that occur?
I'll post pics if them installed later.....then we'll see what the total package looks like.

It will occur a bunch of times at the supermarket or mall when you are backing out... And when any sort of accident involving backing up occurs, you're hosed in terms of liability.

They look great Mark. Some people here just stay in the box and play by the rules, no offense to anyone here I'm just a rebel by nature.

I think one is too many. What if the person behind thinks wrongly that you are braking and not backing? Do you know if it is even legal to have it?
Thanks

That's what separates adults from kids. The teen years are for rebelling lol.

No, this is not legal. Reverse/back-up lights are specifically required to produce white light by both U.S. NHTSA
and European UNECE regulations.

I wouldnt want to cover the clear portions because at night thats the lighting for the backup camera and since my windows are 5% in the back I need that camera to show me everything it can!
