Default 2007 J.D. Power Awards

Once again Lexus takes home the prize with the IS taking the individual model award. Read and enjoy......you own one

Taken in the UK.........where arguably people actually know and understand cars (Most F1 teams are based there should tell you something) I think the award has more meaning than say here in the US where (in my opinion) few people have a clue.

Yes, I used to log on that forum when I owned my Mercedes C230....a fun car to drive but it spent way to much time at the dealer being repaired. Only the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty saved my butt. Dumped it three days short of the warranty expiring when the dealer refused to replace the instrument computer because it was not completely broken? It was going dim and almost unreadable during the day.

It was at that point I made friends with Lexus

Yea I know what you mean I was MoMocedes off of there. I still have my 2002 C230 with 145k with a with a dead cat, panoroof shade broken, and several other problems. I ve never seen a car spend so much time in the dealership. Its weird I have the same problem with the coupe right now for an example when it gets hot outside my cluster screen gets depixeled but I just learn to deal with it.
