My door does not seem to auto lock anymore. My battery died couple of days back and now I am noticing unless I press lock on fob to lock the car, it stays open. Previously it locked itself after 30(?) seconds. Is there a setting I can change to get that function back?

Perhaps the battery change reset the default functions/settings?

It probably needs to be reprogrammed to your specifications.

Exactly. Also, I find it more convenient to press the button on the outside door handle to lock the car, rather than using the key fob.

I could swear that after I drove the card and parked, it would lock automatically after some time without having to press lock on fob or the button on door ****. But now I am not sure sure.
