Default Tom's

after 10 weeks of waiting, 1 week of storage and 2 weeks in the shop... i finally have the tom's rear lip painted and installed! the lip was part of my car's one year bday along with the lexon roof spoiler and the new shoes. enjoy!

Finishes up the rear very nicely with your roof and trunk spoilers. Did you get the middle part painted? Also, got any profile pics? Want to see how much lower it hangs.

Ugh, I can't freaking wait to get mine in. It looks SO GOOD. And I don't care half of the world will be rockin this bumper because damn it looks good. The only thing I worry about is, and maybe you can answer this for me Ultima, but does the Tom's lip make the rear look boxier? It seems like it does in pictures, I don't know?

Anyway, beautiful car, Ultima. I love the way the Tanabe matches up too. Beautiful!

this is the best profile pic that i took. i don't think it hangs any lower than stock cuz the bottom bolts up underneath the car under the trunk. the middle part was painted matte black cuz when i received it it was for some reason all sanded down already.

i think it makes the rear look less boxy cuz of the unpainted diffuser. it'll be more notieceable on a lighter color is tho. i'm very happy with how the tanabe looks with this lip. i know on the oem lip the tanabe sorta get's swallowed up.

Thanks for the info Ultima. I will definitely have to drool over your rear lip one of these days until mine comes in. Also I was wondering; how much smaller are the exhaust outlets compared to stock? (I am thinking of getting GReddy, yknow, with the fatty outlets, and was wondering if I'll have to shave anything down so the exhaust doesn't hit the lip... or just get Tanabe). Also, what's involved in the installation? Simple bolt on?

Looks great! Thank you for sharing. I'm going to do the same when my 08 comes in a few months. I'll order from Lexus the 4 piece ground effects and the rear trunk spoiler.
Regarding the roof spoiler, since it does not come painted, I presume that you have to take it to an auto body shop and have them paint it to match. Who installs the roof spoiler?

Oh, Greddy SPS will be my exhaust of choice.

Can you provide a picture of the gap between the actual car's roof and the roof spoiler?

A picture like this. I am curious to see the gap.

I have to see it before I mount mine.

Actually the exhuast is Tanabe. Not Greddy SP2. =]
