well these days young people can make money more easily than before.... there are so many more opportunities... such as with the internet... like before the .com crash... there were many millionaire 18-21 year olds who dropped out of college... I have some friends who are 17-18 who make 3k profit a month selling stuff on e-bay in their free time.

Being a 'first Lexus' thread, I will post my 'first reply' here. I just signed my lease and the car is on its way, and into my arms! Recently graduated (this past May) and finally started working full time at 22 years young. As a senior in HS, I had a '90 Toyota Camry. Got rid of that and picked up a '92 Toyota Celica GT during my sophomore year in college. Both cars with no A/C! Now it's time to finally balllllll out, and keep my shirt dry in the summer!

Buying my first one now, I'm 24...but my current car is similar in price (purchsaed almost 3 years ago)...I just can't afford a daily driven track car, so I'll be buying something older as a project and daily driving the IS...
