Default XM Radio Steering Wheel Controls

Just got my 250AWD w/ ML and activated the XM radio. It seems like the "seek" button on the steering wheel doesn't do anything? Does it only go through preset stations, or can I seek up one at a time?

I tried searching for this answer on the forums but had no luck, sorry if this is a repeat. I want to hear that clear satellite radio on the ML!

Thanks.

Ummm.... dont expect too much man... ML really doesnt help sat radio too much... XM has really gone down in quality over time and right now they are in a spout of going in and out of service. They have been losing millions of customers over their quality of service the last few months. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

And IIRC, you'd have to press MODE to get to another level/mode.

The "seek" button for FM/AM/XM/CD/DVD is on the console, not the steering wheel.

If you press and hold either one of the buttons usually used to change the station on the steering wheel it will seek.

Except for CDs and DVDs, in which it will change the CD/DVD to the next CD/DVD...

Not here, my XM reception has been rock solid and the quality has been
surprisingly good since I got my car almost a year ago.
XM in my other cars didn't sound too good but its quite good in my Lex.

Same here, I have no complaints on my XM. They had a problem a couple of weeks ago with some sort of satellite issue, but that was fixed pretty quickly. The sweeping statement previously that XM is going downhill is not correct in my experience.
