Default Can't spin the tires

I found myself in a nice empty parking lot this sunny afternoon. I was bored so I decided to see what would the Is 350 do if I gun it from a dead stop. I got traction immediately and took off like hell, which is a good thing. However, I'm wondering do any of you guys peel off when stepping on it from a dead stop? I also did the pedal dance and turn "power" mode on, but I still wasn't able to break the tire loose.
Now before you guys tell me it's a waste of a good tire or it's not the quickest way to take off, I'm aware of that. I just wanted to see if it's possible.
Thanks

I am now able to make the tire break loose at start because I am running low on tread.
Try this. Step on the brake pedal while accelerating, as soon as your tires break loose, let go of your brake and keep accelerating. Have fun and be safe.

On the 07' 350 you can hold the trac button down for 10 seconds and forgo the pedal dance (both lights should be lit). The traction control will stay off and you should be able to break free; mine will.

I wasn't able to break my tires loose until I had several thousand miles on the engine.

I'm surprised. I can blow the tires off my 350 sport pack anytime and I got the car a week ago. It's only got 900 KM on it right now. I found that disabling traction control will easily allow you to get it sideways and spin the tires.

I'm sure it has to do with a number of things - temperature, road conditions, tires. You're in colder temperatures, and I'm guessing you might have all season tires?

I have the Dunlops, and have yet to break traction from a standstill at 4k miles unless I floor it around a corner. I consider this a positive attribute...I'd rather be moving than standing still with my tires smoking.

What type of surface? Do they break loose in a straight line just by flooring it even on a grippy surface?

I just give her a lil gas and pop the clutch and she'll chirp easily in first and second. Add a little sand and disable trac and they'll spin
