Default Scractched my stock rim, what can I do?

I scratched my stock 17 inch alloy rims on my Lexus IS 250 when I was parking (hit the curb), its not dent or anything abut its scratched and the surface is not smooth not more and also some of the paint came off. What should I do? Leave it as it as or resurface the rims (if so with sand paper? Will that do the job?) Any advice will be greatly appreciated

i am not sure who posted but there was a post if you search maybe a month ago on a DIY fix. or your other option is to send it out. only problem is down time. i think it cost about 50/rim to fix and you will never know they fixed it. your dealer can tell you of places they send to. i hope this helps you out. Good Luck!

SupaIS that scratch is similar to the one I have, if I leave it as it is you think its gonna do any damage to my wheel or tire?

Check here before you spend any money fixing the wheel. It may be cheaper to buy new.

I was shocked at the prices. Now I know where to go to get Supra wheels CHEAP...

If you can live with seeing it and don't want to spend the money, then just leave it alone.

I don't even let my girlfriend or teenage daughter back my car out of the driveway to park on the street for fear of them pulling up too close to the curb. I have explained my fear to them, but details regarding my car seem to go into one ear and out the other. Their attitude is a car is just to get you from point A to point B, and they think I am ****....what's wrong with them?

Wow - great find, thanks! This is great for people who only need one wheel - at these prices, it sure beats buying a new set!
