It is at $8k+ difference.

I just got my IS250 for $32,400 OTD. The same IS350 with the options OTD would be between $39-41k. Thats a big difference in my book.

The reason is dealers are willing to negociate that much on the IS350 on the lot.

How does that tax work? Is it a federal tax? Do you pay it at purchase time?

We don't have luxury tax...I forgot completely about that. I honestly never knew there was a 250, the first one I saw was a 350 and then I bought it and found out later that they did make a 250. I probably woulda bought a 250 due to cost, but dunno, I really like my 350, I'm used to it now.

1.) Cost

But as I was on the freeway today driving home, a TL was right on my a$$ all the way to the exit ramp. I changed to the left lane and had a pace going beside the TL until he floored it and blew me away. I guess that's what I get for being cheap.

I don't need the extra power since the car is basically for commuting to work in this crazy LA traffic. Plus, I rather use the money for handbags and shoes.

The 6K I saved by buying the 250 went into my paint fund for my 68 Camaro, plus the wife drives the 250.
