Default 20's and Tires

So I have had my 20's on my 350 now for a while, and it also has the eibach pro kit on it. I had some serious issues with rubbing when they first got installed and until now the issues realy didn't go away, I just learned to ignore them. I had for a tire set up: Kumho Exsta Sports 225/35/zr20 for the front, and 255/35/zr20 for the rear. Well the tires wore out after approx 20k, and got a new set yesterday. I got the Toyo Proxies on the car now, and I got the same size as before, and what do you know....NO MORE RUBBING!!!
Just wanted to share that with everyone. I guess the brand of tire makes a gigantic difference.

That's GREAT! I got a little discouraged from your reply to my pm about the rubbing issue with 20's and that setup. But now I think I'll dive right into the DUB CLUB! Glad to hear your problems have gone away (with the rubbing)!

BTW, if you don't mind me asking... what offsets are you running? Thanks!

hey DJ? long time no see.. what toyos did you get T1R or Proxy 4? ive already logged over 20k on my proxy 4 and i still have like 60% tread left. they are really good tires for the money, i can easily see myself getting over 40k miles out of this set.

I actually got the Proxy 4's also. Thats great news about them. They seem a little bit looser than the Kuhmos were, but they might be over inflated right now. What pressure you have yours at?

i have mine at 38 PSI front and rear. ill admit they are somewhat noisy and they probably dont "stick" as well as other tires but they wear really well. i had the Toyo Proxies SUV tires on my 4Runner in 22" and i got well over 30k on them too, which is why i got them for the Lexus.
