Default IS350 Exhaust Tip and Wheel Cleaning

What do you guys use to clean the stock exhaust tips and the wheels? After not cleaning my car as often as I should've through this winter, my exhaust tips are especially looking horrid.

Granted, I've only used basic car wash soap on them so far. However, I need suggestions for a cleaner that is safe for the tips, yet very strong to remove the hardened gunk and stained spots that aren't so easily removable from the surface.

Also, any suggestions for a good wheel cleaner for all that brake dust?

Thanks!

Soap and water cleans the brake dust. Really. You don't need anything special, it's just a painted surface. Just don't plan to use the same sponge on your paint after you get it all blacked up with brake dust.

There are tons of metal polishes, bug and tar removers, even Goo-Gone will work on the black spots if you don't mind letting it soak a bit. Since it's chrome, there aren't too many bad things out there. Just don't expect to use something abrasive without scratching.

The exhaust tips are often mistaken for chrome. They are actually pollished stainless steeel.

Honda motorcycle cleaner works well. Eagle one chrome cleaner also works, but those stock tips are not chrome as is350jet pointed out.

wheels I just wash them with soap and water. I guess if they are really bad you could squirt any kind of degreaser on them. Like simple green, orange clean, any of those.
