Default DOG in the car?

So do you guys allow your dogs to ride in the car with you? I'm forced to because the old lady won't let our dog in her CLK500. Poor pooch. So anyway i let the dog ride in my backseat.

I'm trying to find some sort of seat protection though. Anyone out there found something that fits well and comes on and off easily?

I have the perforated seats and the day my car was delivered we took our dog for a ride in the new car. The car ride sounded a bit like this:

"keep her paws off the leather....keep her away from the window...stop letting her lick the door sills...did you walk her before bringing her in here..."

Love the dog...but REALLY love the new car!

This is what I got. I went through 3 different ones...this was the best options for seat, floor, and drool.

Well worth the investment.

Being single and only with the IS350...my big husky travels all the time in the back. I bought a pet hammock rear seat cover (http://www.hunterk9.com/site/870877/product/112) and pet door covers (http://www.autoanything.com/pet-travel/20A10016A1.aspx). They work great and are very durable.

Those hammock things are pretty sweet. I'm going to have to get one of those.

My dog rides with me often. I have a similar one to DNSZOOM's in my car but in black.

Check out this old thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=196886

Hell, I am having a tough time just letting the kids ride in back not to mention a dog. I might loosen up eventually. A little. NOT !!!

But if I did have to let a dog ride in the back I would def get 1 of these. Come to think of it I might get 1 4 the kids. JUST KIDDING It would be nice if there was some protection for the arm and head rests.

Arms and headrests are untouched...at least with my dog anyway, but I can imagine a smaller type dog that likes to stand up alot being a concern for the arms. The only part that gets messy for me is the windows. He always puts his nose on them and I end up having to wipe them off each time. No biggie.

Dog Carrier in the back seat... (Dog carrier used to be in the front in the CLK500 only because it was a pain to get him in and out of the back)
