I wish the IS had a bit more room in the back, and better looking tail lights/reflector. Maybe Lexus will do something about the rear when they do the refreshing, although that probably won't happen until fall of 08 for 2009 models.

I heard that ES models quality seem to go down a bit; with Toyota's global dominance continuing, let's hope Lexus keeps the quality up and continue to improve.

There's nothing from the Nissan lineup that interests me, although the G35 definitely seems to be an excellent alternative to people who want a nice blend of power, performance (RWD), good quality (compared to European brands), space, and value.

I found this thread after rolling beside one tonight. Rolling beside one at 80mph, I can tell you by the time I hit 130, I had at least 2 car lengths on the 35.

Trust me Toyota always better if they have the equivalent power, mostly Lexus Toyota input the right Horse while Hyundai and other auto maker claims to be more but on the street Toyota better, IS350 is a beast and reliable.

Folks used to say Toyota Solara is a slow boat compare to 350z and other high horse coupe. Yo remember TRD supercharged Toyota SOlara in 1999 ? i have one and my mom driving it. we are not slow we beat TL Maxima Accord and ofcourse the old model Hyuandai coupe. search for TRD supercharged Toyota Solara on youtube or google.
