Default Should I complain about my oil cap?

I have a 2007 IS350, which was built in October 06. The oil cap recommends 5w30.

According to a TSB released on March 29, 2006, I should be using 5w20. Shouldnt my oil cap say 5w-20?

I thought 5w30 is what we use. Maybe you are in a different area so they want you to use different types of oil..

An oil cap that talks. Very impressive.

Seriously, don't worry about it, and save your complaining for bigger issues. And 5w-30 will work just fine.

TSIB EG006-06 indicates that 5W-20 is now both factory fill and recommended for best fuel economy and cold start performance. I verified this directly with Lexus; they clarified that 5W-20 is now the recommended oil for our cars, but 5W-30 is also perfectly acceptable.

ROTFLMAO . . .

and while you have them on the phone, also complain about:

- the holes drilled in your front bumper
- the excessive brake dust on your front rims
- the small backseat
- the lack of a manual in the IS350
- the lack of a coin holder
- the scarcity of ML equipped models

yada, yada, yada . . .
