Where did you order the touchup paint again? I saw you mention it in another thread a while back but forgot the website.

thanks everyone!

bought the paint here http://www.paintscratch.com/ primer i picked up from wal-mart but the other stuff from paint scratch. could prob get the clear cheaper also but the paint and and promoter should buy from them.

Man, that makes the engine bay look sp much better. I think someone on CL painted his cover, but also painted the surrounding covers as well.

Looks good. Will the engine heat have any effect on the paint's durability? Perhaps not.

I don't know if I'd paint the other covers. Over the years they'll just get nicked up and scuffed. If they are painted they will look pretty ratty.

not sure about the heat but others who have done their covers haven't complained.

I am considering painting my engine and engine bay covers. My concern is the roughness of the bay covers. Will sanding alone smooth those bay covers out for painting? I'm not worried about the tedious task of painting, I'm more concerned about preparing the engine bay covers. Any input?
