Default MPG on my 2007 IS250 AWD

Hi, I am still using the first tank of gasoline and I am getting about 11.6mpg which is EXTREMLY low. So I went over to Lexus and they told me that, it will take 2-3 tank of super gasoline before the high mpg kicks in. Is anyone experiencing this issue? I drove both local and high way.

We found that our mileage really suffered in the cold weather. When brand new, on way back from dealer (about 100 mile trip on interstate) we saw 28 MPG, but that was October and over 50F. During our recent cold spell we saw low mileage of 12/13. Your mileage should improve with some time and warmer weather. We are averaging 24.3 MPG overall (per computer readout) since new and have seen tank averages upwards of 30MPG on the open road.

I have an 07 250/awd and the above posting is very close to my experience as well. We've owned since around Nov.

Um... I see, and it is around 10 degree in NY so I assume that's why I am getting crappy mileage. Oh well... at least I know why I am getting ****ty mileage

jimjaix,

If it's any consolation, I'm at like 12 MPG and it IS frustrating!

I only get that low right after a fill up the tank. I guess it can't calculate correctly until you put on a few miles. I usually get 18 when I drive aggressively and 24 when I take it easy. I also use the PWR mode.

Yea, this thing guzzles gas when it is cold, I've been noticing that I fill up gas less than 2 weeks and I drive like a grand-ma.
