Most efficient speed for IS (I got 31.5mpg)
The other day I driving home on a flat asphalt highway right after buying gas. I was stuck behind a car, so was doing about 56mph on cruise control for about 20 miles.
Since I had just filled up my tank, I got to see my gas mileage. The info display said my average was 31.5mpg. Keep in mind this is with an IS 350, but I think it's still pretty good.
When the asphalt changed to cement (with a bumps every 20 ft), the mileage dropped to 31.2mpg at same speed.
Anyway, what has anyone had luck with anything higher?

I think 41 or 42mph is the most efficient speed -- as soon as it kicks into 6th gear. Over about a 8 mile stretch going 41/42mph with cruise, it was getting about 35.6mpg!!

o_o* Man....I barely get 25MPG, during summer time. Now that it's winter...I'm constantly getting..15-16. Then again, I go to work which is less then 2 miles away. My mileage starts to kick back up to 17-18 on the weekends, but never into the 20's. Since I don't really go anywhere.
