I finally put in an order for a Starfire Pearl + Cashmere. As a lot of you mentioned, after all it is my car and I have to get what I like. (Actually the perfect combo for me would be Tungsten Pearl + Cashmere, but they don't make it that way).

It looks like the IS350 is pretty hard to come by in the Bay Area. My sales lady had to preference it for me because there is just none in stock with LT + NV.

It's supposed to show up before the end of the month......

Is this a car forum, or the psychology forum? My non-technical answer is to tell them to get a life. It shouldn't cost you anything, and it will save you a trip to the dealer.

At our house, I guess it is a chick car, since my wife drives it and she picked out the color inside and out.

I still love to drive it when I can and no, the color doesn't make me feel like any less of a man...

Congrats... it seems you are comfortable and confident with yourself, so the color choice really doesn't matter. I think the IS=chick magnet regardless of color!

For sure my Black IS=dust magnet! I just can't keep it clean! My next car, I'm going back to a light color car and the Starfire P is a very nice one!
