If I were to get a new camry, I would try my best to secure one that originated from japan. All you have to do is look at the vin number. Yes, brand new japanese made camry's still exist on the lot (maybe 1 out of 10).. not many people know this.

If you wanted a V6 Camry, you would have to pass, since I believe all of them are only produced in the USA. Japan only produces 4 cylinder Camrys.
I know this is also true with the Honda Accords.

Well said. I agree to a point. I was mostly referring to the V8's in the Cadillacs and Buicks which share the same market as Lexus. Yes, the V8's in the ZO6 and the Shelby are feats all their own and are truly incredible engines, designed for their purpose. Lexus could certainly build a 500HP engine but it just wouldn't do justice in a corvette.

Yup, My aunt waited six weeks since she got a custom options that the dealer didn't have, so they special ordered one. Its one hella of a hybrid.
