Default Home as your destination!

Okay I am just curious...

When you wnat to go home and want the NAV to lead the way what do you say?

"Take me home."

"Destination Home."

"Go home."

I have found all of these commands work, however "take me home" seems to work the best. I would have made a poll but don't know how.

the best command is "home." I've never tried any of those other commands...but home seems to be the shortest and most time saving command.

There are a number of alternate commands that work for this, like:

"Show me the way home, honey."

"Where does daddy sleep?"

"Rhymes with 'Rome'."

"Home, James."

There are literally hundreds of song lyrics (mostly from country songs) that it will recognize as well. If you're feeling particularly sappy, tearfully saying, "You feel like home" to the car will get the job done as well. Incidentally, "You complete me" will turn on seat massagers.

Good luck!

i tried saying home a couple of times...i love the idea of voice commands but it annoys me when it says "voice not recognized" though... said home once and it turned my audio off.... haha... goofy machine.

I've never had a problem getting it to recognize the short command "home".

Trying to get it to recognize the command "70 degrees", on the other hand, is an exercise in futility. About 19 times out of 20, it will misinterpret it as 78 degrees. Oddly enough, I discovered that saying "7 degrees" usually sets it to 70.
