Default Any one using spacers?

Did a search and found one good thread about wheel spacers. Now that my car is dropped and will be sticking with the stock wheels I would like to push them out a little. Any suggestions. I was thinking 5mm front and 15mm rear.

I was thinking about the same thing. 5 & 15 sounds about right. I work for machine shop so I can make a set myself. I just worry about stud length. 15mm is over half inch so I would have to install longer studs. The problem is that Im switching between snow and summer wheels and if Ill mount longer stud, my summer wheel lugs will no longer hold the rim tightly. and I dont know where to get those weird looking /washer/ lugs which are deeper than stock by over half inch

regards, Bart.

now Javier, be honest.... does the car handle differently once you have offseted the wheels? do you see more wear on inside of your tires?

regards, Bart.

Nope. I've got almost 16,000 miles, and my tire wear is absolutely perfect. I could post pictures, but it would be a waste of time.

Javy --

Those spacers look awfully heavy. Did you drill any more speed holes in them?

When you added the 5mm spacers, did you have to get longer studs

Thanks Mike... Hutch - with a 5mm spacer, you shouldn't have to change the studs. The stockers should work fine for you.
