Any year end crazy deals for the is350?
Hi all! This is my first post.
I have been shopping around the Bay Area (mainly emailing and calling different dealers) this weekend for an IS350.
The best offer I have received so far is $500 above invoice for in stock IS350s. Some dealers offered $1000 above invoice and one offered $2000 over.
I also asked about placing a special order and I got $1000 to $2000 above invoice.
Has anyone got better a deal than this (for both in stock and special order)?
Thanks,

Hi, I am in Northern California. I was able to get ~350 over invoice on an in-stock or special order. I chose the special order so that I could get the car exactly how I wanted. This was for a 2007 IS350.

Deal in Bay area
I was shopping between TL and an IS350 also. So far I got invoice+150 quote for TL. What option are you shopping for your IS and can you share what did you receive from different dealers so far? I was going to send out the inquiry after Christmas and see if I can wrap up the purchase before New Year.

I am also planning to buy before new year. Please let us know if you see any better prices.
Dealer 1: invoice+$500 special order (I need to confirm with the guy to see if he was serious about this)
Dealer 2: invoice+$2000 did not specify in stock or special offer
Dealer 3: invoice+$500 in stock/invoice+$1000 special order
Dealer 4: invoice+$1000 in stock
Dealer 5: invoice+$1000 in stock/invoice+$2000 special order
Dealer 6: invoice+$900 in stock/invoice+$2000 special order

When you guys are saying invoice, have you actually been told what the dealer is referring to? I am currently shopping for a Toyota SUV for the wife and the dealers are saying "Invoice+500" but when I ask what their invoice is for a given options set up, it is always about $750 higher than what Edmunds and Costco says it is.

I have read somewhere in this forum that dealers may tag on their advertising fees etc to the invoice and that becomes the "dealer cost".
So when they say "invoice+$500", they may have meant "dealer cost + $500".
I am going to talk to the dealers in more details to get some actual numbers.
Will let you guys know.

"Dealer Cost" is below the invoice price, usually 2-3% below. The dealer-advertised invoive price includes the delivery fee -- $750. This is not included if you look on Edmunds or KBB or any pricing site.
I paid true dealer cost on my IS350 -- options listed below, MSRP is 42893, my price was 35577.

I some how feel that they always guard their paperwork / pricing info as top secret from their customers and use that as a negotiation tactic to maximize their profit.....
