The local dealer told me that they stopped making that combo for the IS250.

Maybe they stopped allocating to your region, but I bet you can still place a special order for one . . .

I haven't seen a Sport Package on a Texas dealer's lot in ages, so unless you are going to do a Special Order you probably won't bump into one. Sport Package is not an option on the 'Build Your IS' feature on Lexus. com in the Texas region. I am just guessing but I wouldn't be surprised if Lexus drops this package next year, especially with the IS-F coming out.

You could order the X pkg with the premium pkg and get the sport suspension with wood trim, but IMHO, it's seems like an oxymoron . . .

I thought all the "packages" were mutually exclusive? (packages include - Sport, Lux, Prem, and X)

So if you can order X + prem, which interior would take priority? the prem's wood or the x's metallic?

The premium's wood. Your question is like asking which would take priority, the X pack's aluminum pedals or the premium pack's rubber? The rubber pedals and the silver plastic trim are both standard equipment on the base car, while the aluminum pedals and wood trim are the optional upgrades added by the packages.

Ya, so I didn't think you could get both... If you did, you would be "losing" out on pieces of one or the other... Doesn't make sense to me to get both...

Don't have to believe me, go to thy dealer and see for yourself. I saw a IS350 X-pkg with prem pkg when I was in for my comp 5k service. Plain as day, you get the wood trim & perforated/ventilated seats along with the starfish rims, front lip, etc, etc. Interesting thing about this IS, it also had the HKS exhaust installed, and it looked very nice . . .

almost all the " X-package" cars i've found at dealers also have the premium package along with it......made no sense to me either, but maybe its to have the perforated seats..

UGH, wood in a car with a sporty package like the x-package... That makes me sick...

Don't know if your post above was replying to me, but I believe you... I just didn't want to believe you

I always like seeing brand new cars at dealership with a quality aftermarket part installed (like the HKS exhaust in your dealership)... It makes me feel a little bit more confident in the dealership's abilities/knowledge... Like they sort of know a bit more than the average dealership...
