Hmmmm... that's the way I measured, from the tapered down part of the lip, the lowest part near the back... I just went out and re-measured, it's maybe 6.75"...
So it looks like the stock lip and the GFX Front Spoiler are about the same height...
We both have the sport suspension, so it should be the same height...

Then, during and after I put it on, they were like "WOAH, that looks really good." They sort of looked at it from ground level and said "It doesn't seem to be any lower at all, just sticks out further and looks more aggressive!"
I was like "Ya, it's made by Lexus, so you know it's gonna look OEM. Hell, it's part of the X-Package option."
So, ya, the fact that you don't lose ground clearance is huge... Plus the installation is easy, and the group buy price makes it a bit more reasonable of a cost... $300+ is still expensive for a piece of plastic, but whatever...

Look further up in this thread, I posted a like to another ground effects DIY that shows how the rear skirt goes on, I think they also show the side skirts... Not sure if you have to drill but I couldn't imagine so... The side skirt ground effects are almost identical to the stock ones... Probably just plug and play...

Dunno about the tire shop, that's a separate business next door... I would never buy a used tire, lol...
