Default Lexus Rear Bumper Valence

Any one have pics of IS with rear bumper valence next to IS with only normal bumper. I still dont understand if the ground effects kits' rear bumper valence is different in size also or merely cosmetic?

try figuring out what you're talking about first. there is an optional lid spoiler, and a valance for the rear bumper. there is no rear bumper spoiler

Apologies for using the wrong terminology as I posted this in a hurry. Yes, it is the valence for the rear bumper i was referring to.

Here are a couple of pics of the rear 'ground effects' piece in question. The whole ground effects package is subtle.....but there is an overall more aggressive look with the package.

There are plenty of regular rear shots on the forum for comparison.

It's the whole ground effects kit ..... the $1,500 port installed option. The side skirts are very subtle. Here are a couple more pics.

I honestly can't tell the difference between the stock and optional side skirts. I want to get the rear valence for my IS, but I am still waiting around to see what the aftermarket will bring.

So there is no matt silver piece in the middle of the rear valence (between the two mufflers) like the mercedes E-class AMG? I saw that in one of the IS pics and thought it was a OEM but now I think it was probably an after-market accessory.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Wonder if anyone managed to take side-by-side pics of IS with & without package at a dealership.

This is what I was referring to in the previous post. In this picture, there appears to be a silver horizontal piece. I suppose thats just the lighting!

I like the kit. Very subtle but clearly states the point.

I thought the same as you, but looking carefully at the pics, it does have a clearly defined edge that is not there on the stock side skirts! I like.

the side skirts protrude out more vs stock. for like the 1st two weeks having them on.. i would always step on it or graze it a little when stepping out of the car

Hey Evitzee, do you have a muffler system? Your tips seem to match the edges of the bumper in a flusher fashion.

No, just the stock system.
