i meant the inside being painted... not an overlay

Inside would make the car look classier IMO and also not affect the light output.

If you smoke the outside the light output would be highly des. right so why would you do that if you have HID or aftermarket installation? And I think it will only look good on Black IS thou.

there's a diy thread on how to paint your headlight housing, that isn't smoking your headlights. mine have smoke film. you have to take the bumper off etc to paint the housing.

Not to bad i think it would look slick if you painted the grill black as well

lol yeah and put a group of 12 red horizontal LEDs, that tracked systematically side to side.

It looks dead sexy when its done, but its very risky to do and requires someone that knows what they are doing

I'd love to find someone in AZ willing to do it. I'd so much rather have the housing painted than smoke overlays. Anyone know someone in AZ?

i've done it for more than one headlight before.. it's a pain in the *** but it works.. i never had any leaks afterwards also.. i'm willing to do it if i can get a set of headlight cheap on ebay...

I removed some reflectors that were inside the headlights of my 00 S2k and I had to put them in the oven...really wierd but it worked and they turned out really nice. Hard to get them open, gotta heat em up alot then keep damn finger prints and dust out!! But I did it!!
