Default Shopping for IS

Would you buy an IS250 AWD with just Premium package for $33.5K + tax or an USED IS350 w/premium. package that has 8,000 miles on for $33.8K? (edited... it was premium pkg, not luxury pkg)

What are your priorities? I would go IS 350, I have never had an issue with all my 2nd hand Lexus from the dealer.

+1 for the 350. Your right foot will thank you on the way home...

wow... I guess that people don't care much whether it's a brand new or used? or is it because it's worth it to choose the used IS350 over brand new IS250 AWD?

I own a 250 but drove the 350 for a couple weeks, if you aren't really into speed the 100 HP less really does'nt bother me one bit.

I'm purchasing an IS250 RWD sometime between now and this coming February.

Does the 250's power satisfy you in everyday driving? Do you ever find yourself yearning for more power? I value handling/braking/overall performance over speed, so I think the 250 will be perfect for me.

For reference, I'm currently driving an e46 ('03) 325i. My previous car was an '01 IS300 (totalled in March).

If you drive the car "responsibly" you wont be craving for more power, compared to your e46, your current car has very good low ene torque and the 250 is just the opposiite, you feel the power kick in at over 4 grand. You feel the power but it won't push you back in your seat or anything like that.

I'd go with the used 350 over the new 250, myself.
