Default Picture of LED daytime driving lights for IS

I just installed my Xenon Depot light kit and couldn't stand how yellow the DRL's looked and bought 5 LED bulbs from Velocity LED's and couldn't be happier. You can really see the difference between the two. Ten bucks for the bulbs. Great service with this guy as well. Contact Jake at sales@frickinbrite.com

I read somewhere that installing the LED's voids the warranty on your headlamps

Not sure really, they draw less juice from the system than the stock unit.

They really set the car off. The stock lights make it look cheap. What is wrong with Lexus? Why are we spending $40k for cheap parts?

I don't get it? I thought the DRLs were just the high beams at reduced intensity. If one were to replace them with LEDs, would you lose your high beams?

the high beams are a different bulb, it is halogen, the drl is just a removable bulb in the upper corner of the light opening

I believe the DRL is the high beam light. The little light bulb inside is on when you turn your night light on.

Default signal light

Yeah, he just changed out the 5 watt bulb the signal light with LED's. Its not the headlight.
yeah this is light weight stuff, $5 . Wait till you have to replace one of those stupid air pressure sensors in your tires. Then you will have something to complain about.

Those are Parking Lights, not DRLs.

According to the manual Parking Lights use bulb type 168. I read on the forum somewhere that you can also use type 194.

They are commonly called "city lights" and they have nothing to do with the high beam.
