I am offered this pre-paid maintenance plan with extended warranty.
Basically, it covers all scheduled maintenance for every 5k mile interval.
The first 5k one is free so the plan starts at 10k and then 15k, 20k, etc.
There are two plans: one up to 3-year/40k for $3,495 and the other one up to 4-year/50k for $3,995.
The sales said the plan comes with a 7-year/100k extended warranty with $50 deductible.
It seems like what they are offering is not the official Platinum Program from Lexus because the brochure says "First Extended Service Corporation".

The official Platinum Program from Lexus costs $2,325.
So assuming their extended warranty is worth 70% of this, the price for the pre-paid maintenance will be $2,367.5.
And this is for 9 scheduled services, which translate to average $263 for each.
What do you guys think?
BTW, the price includes all taxes already.

An oil change on a 350 is about $50... @ Lexus. Also, I paid about $2000 for the Lexus Platinum program, with no deductible. Do NOT let them sell you a non-Lexus extended warranty.

FE's website: http://www.firstextended.com/. My favorite quote from their site (and typical of all 3rd party extended warranty companies): Please note: A repair is not covered and you may not be reimbursed for its cost if the claim is not authorized by First Extended before the vehicle is repaired.

Kensteele, I saw your thread before I posted.
I am in CA and you are in KS, so maybe the price there for maintenance is a bit lower.
I am asking my salesperson to send me a break down of the price of each scheduled maintenance.
But as Dave said, the FE warranty sounds shaky.
Even though they said it is free with the maintenance plan, I think they probably factor in the cost of the FE warranty.
