prodrive GC-010 looks good?
soo guys..what do you think of these rims?
18 x 8.5 GC-010
British Black
5 x 114.3mm Bolt Pattern
+46mm Offset
17.25 lbs
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1098471
i like the fact that they are lightweight..and looks like its harder to scratch the spokes if u ever curb or anything...
question is...is the offset too high? or the wheels too wide?fender bend?
i got a is250awd btw...
let me know!!..going to order soon!!..thanks

looks like the volk CE28N's http://www.mackinindustries.com/md/rays/ce28n.html.
They're ok, the volks look a little better...I'd rather get a 19in or 20in setup if I'm going aftermarket, but thats just my opinion. I'm assuimg you're going for performance over aesthetics?!?
I think those offsets are ok, +35 in the front is the max I believe, look at the FAQ's

5-600 a pop..depending on the size. Everyone has Volk, and for good reasons.. the same reasons youre looking at the volks hung. LIGHTWEIGHT, DURABILITY, and Sexxy good looks. either choice is good. I just like to keep japanese parts on a japanese car.
Gunmetal, diamond black or bronze Volk CE28N's in 18 x 8.5 in the front, 18x9.5-10 in the rear would look sick on an IS. almost like a time attack car or something. Be sure to drop it too, wheels with out a suspension drop look funny like whoa.

No doubt Volk wheels are great. Just my preference and personality to go with something different. My view is adding something unique to my car is more satisfying than playing it safe and do what everyone else is doing. One member on this board is selling his Volks because clones are starting to appear.
Any way, you can't go wrong with either one of those wheels.

yea....i think 18" is the way to go for somewhat performance..19 is way too big without lowering the car, and besides in NY, u wont be able to go far with 19s...i'll probably go for these..contact that guy thru the link i posted..

i had 18x7.5 volks le28n gold w/ polished lip on my RSX and as everyone knows about the 101 freeway, there are holes everywhere... it was at night when i ran over this hole, heard a pop, and thought everything was ok.. morning after, one of the rims outer lip was a little bit bent.. wasn't too bad though for the sound i heard.. couldn't even tell from a couple feet away =)

gotta love the prodrives........They actully look like the new works then anything. they would look sweet in bright flitter, the color that they use on the pff7 rims, in fact those would look sweet too.......I love volks as much as the next guy, but they are getting played out
